Anne Nouri, President

Anne is an auctioneer and real estate consultant as well as a mother to two active teenagers with a passion for the arts. Anne enjoys serving the community by providing her expertise to help nonprofits with their fundraising goals and community involvement.

Anne studied neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh and continued studying at Harvard University while managing a successful business in Boston.

For over a decade Anne and her sister were regularly invited and featured on Television Networks Worldwide, NBC, HSN, Rodgers Network (Canada), TVSN (Australia) and Ideal World (England) for their successful home décor brand, which generated sales of more than $100 million dollars worldwide.

Over the years Anne has watched her children’s passion and dedication towards playing the violin, piano and saxophone grow and help mold them into the young adults they are today.

Anne joined the Loudoun Symphony Association board as she believes that Music is nourishment for the mind and the soul and that Loudoun Symphony provides a unique collaboration of talent and training to the community for the continued sharing of the Arts.

Matt Banner, Vice President

An electrical engineer since his days at Northwestern University, Matt Banner spent 11 years working in England where he met his wife, Jane, and acquired two children.  The girls started piano at 4, moving quickly to violin and bassoon, and the family soon became involved in local musical events, volunteering with the LSO not long after moving to Leesburg.

After his daughter, Felicity, joined the Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra, Matt took on the role of parent liaison between the LSYO and the Loudoun Symphony board, and was then invited to become a member of the board.

As vice president of the Loudoun Symphony this year, he is taking the organization to a more efficient level of technology and communication, and integration into social media.
