BRING THE CONCERT TO YOUR SCHOOL

In-School Concert Series for Loudoun County Public Elementary Schools

Each year Loudoun Symphony organizes a series of in-school concerts to educate children about the wonders of classical music. Members of the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra collaborate with Loudoun County Public School music teachers to prepare a 45-minute presentation that supports music curriculum.

The theme of this year’s program is Discovering Your Inner Mozart. By highlighting Mozart’s amazing accomplishments at such a young age, the goal is to inspire Loudoun County’s elementary students to discover and capitalize on their own unique creative potential.  Featured music will cover a wide range of Mozart’s compositions, and will include demonstrations of the sounds and capabilities of a variety of woodwind and string instruments. The last piece on the program will have opportunities for audience participation, and there will be time for students to ask questions. This program is supported by a generous donation from a sponsor who wishes to remain anonymous.
