About the event
A 2.5-hour workshop for District 14 and District 16 band and orchestra students auditioning for Junior and Senior Regional Orchestra. Classes will be taught by musicians from the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra. Participants will review audition scales and excerpts, work on sight-reading techniques, and participate in mock auditions to receive feedback on your preparation.
The workshop will be held at Farmwell Station Middle School in Ashburn on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Sessions run either 9:00-11:30 a.m. or 12:00-2:30 p.m. depending on your instrument and level.
Registration is $40 per person, paid by cash or check on the day of the event. Checks should be payable to Loudoun Symphony Association.
