Loudoun Symphony Volunteer Opportunities

Join the Symphony! Join the Loudoun Symphony volunteer staff - enrich your life and the lives of others.

The members of the orchestra are mostly volunteers who work very hard to present first-class performances of great classical music to the Loudoun area. As essential as the orchestra members are the volunteers who support it. You can enjoy great music and meet new friends while taking charge of or assisting with the stage and lobby activities, the advertising and fundraising, or the office duties that are so important to the organization..

Concert activities:

Sound and lighting, stage set up, lobby management, ticket sales, ushering, reception hosting,

volunteer confirmation and coordination

Public relations, advertising, and fund raising: 

Design, create, and set up displays; post concert advertisements and distribute flyers;

provide VIP treatment for major supporters; plan, coordinate, or assist with fundraiser events

Office and general help: 

Clerical and administrative tasks, preparation of mailings and concert programs, making pickups and deliveries,

web site administration, and computer/network administration

Special events:  

Coordinate or assist with donor recognition events, support the Youth Orchestra,

participate in the annual Young People's concert
