Tuition includes weekly rehearsals, sectionals, performances, masterclasses, volunteer opportunities as they arise, and two tickets to each LSYO concert. Students 12 and under are free to attend LSYO concerts.

  • String Orchestra, $500

  • Prelude Strings, $450

First half of tuition is due within 14 days of acceptance. The remainder is due by August 31st. All payments are non-refundable.

Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra provides financial aid to LSYO participants who have financial need through an application process once musicians are invited to join one of our ensembles. The Financial Aid Committee will consider your completed financial aid application on a case-by-case basis. 

For the 2023-2024 season, upon acceptance to LSYO, all first-year LSYO brass and percussion players are offered a full non-renewable scholarship.
