Do I need to submit an audition?

All musicians NOT currently in LSYO must submit an audition. Please fill out the form below.

You will be asked to include a link to your audition piece (Google Drive or unlisted YouTube) before completing the audition registration. Auditions will be accepted for Advanced Chamber Strings until filled. Auditions for our Concert Orchestra and Primo Strings will be open until July 15.

Some musicians who are currently in LSYO (2025-2026 season OR auditioned and been accepted for the 2026-2027 season) may need to submit an audition. See below:

• Any musician wishing to audition for the evening Advanced Chamber Strings must submit an audition for placement or have recommendation by Dr. Denesha. Please submit a recording of any recent performance.

• LSYO Philharmonic and Symphonic musicians do not need to audition for Concert Orchestra

• LSYO String Musicians do not need to audition for Primo Strings, but must submit an audition for Concert Orchestra.

• LSYO Prelude Strings do not need to audition for Primo Strings.

• Fees will increase on June 1, 2026. Additionally, late fees will be incurred for registrations submit after July 15th, 2026
